Our Mission
The story behind AICONSORTIUM
AICONSORTIUM was born from a straightforward conviction: that the world's people, across every language, market, and centuries-deep tradition of mathematical and scientific excellence, should not be passive consumers of intelligence built by a handful of labs elsewhere.
We were founded in Bharat by researchers who looked at the global AI landscape and saw a gap that was not technical, but political and philosophical. The models shaping our world were being trained on data that underrepresented most of the world's languages, contexts, and values. We decided to do something about it.
AI sovereignty is not a slogan for us. It is the central design constraint of everything we build. Every parameter trained at AICONSORTIUM is trained on sovereign infrastructure, under strong data governance, by a team that understands what it means to build for a world this complex and this diverse.
We are building for the long term. We believe the intelligence infrastructure built in the next two decades will determine who benefits from AI, and we intend to make sure that includes everyone, everywhere. Born in Bharat, served globally.
Our Journey
Two years of quiet work before a single announcement.
AICONSORTIUM Private Limited was incorporated on 7 May 2026, but the company existed long before the paperwork. The research, the architecture, and the conviction behind it were built patiently, from 2024 onward.
2024 · The Beginning
The work starts before the company does.
A small group of researchers begins work on a question most of the industry had set aside: can frontier-class intelligence be built as a federation of specialists rather than a single monolith? The earliest research into what would become Clark, a hierarchically detached federated Mixture of Experts, starts here, on whiteboards and borrowed compute, long before AICONSORTIUM had a name on paper.
Late 2024 · Architecture
The federated blueprint takes shape.
The core architectural commitments are locked in: a live backbone model coordinating detachable expert clusters, sovereign training infrastructure, and first-class support for the world's languages, treated as a founding constraint rather than an afterthought. The decision to scale toward one trillion parameters through federation, rather than brute force, is made in this period.
2025 · Deep Build
Clark and Sattam.ai move from theory to systems.
The Clark backbone enters serious development, and a second conviction crystallises: that the law deserves a dedicated intelligence of its own. Work on Sattam.ai, our system for jurisdiction-aware legal reasoning, begins alongside the evaluation frameworks needed to hold both systems to account, including our LexEval benchmark suite.
7 May 2026 · Incorporation
AICONSORTIUM Private Limited is born.
Two years of research become a company. AICONSORTIUM Private Limited is incorporated under the Companies Act 2013: sovereign by design, founder-funded, and accountable to the people it serves. The mission is formalised the same way it was practised: born in Bharat, served globally.
Today · Scaling
A live 70B backbone, and a trillion-parameter horizon.
Clark's 70B backbone is live in beta, with specialist experts being populated cluster by cluster. Sattam.ai is advancing through its development checklist. The team is growing, the infrastructure is sovereign, and the long-term plan is exactly what it was in 2024. The only difference is that now it is public.
